Great location; helpful staff; large room; nicely decorated; clean though small bathroom.
The restaurant area left a bit to be desired as it was open to the lobby which was very busy. There were too many very casual people in the lobby.
An excellent location for anyone who wants a NYC experience. We walked to the Village, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and took the subway back to the hotel with an entrance to the subway just down the block. The room was large with two beds which I requested and very comfortable with a clean though small bathroom. This is an excellent hotel for someone who wants a 4 star hotel in NYC. read more

Front desk staff, doorman and concierge were especially helpful, polite and friendly.
There was nothing I did not like!
The Barclay is certainly a great place to stay. It is close to many attractions, shopping and located in a very safe section of the city. The facilities are clearly older but always clean, neat and attractive. The entire staff is outstanding and to be commended for making us feel welcome and at home. Highly recommended!

Location and overall quality.
Room was for the disabled which detracts from overall ambiance.
Hotel has retained its traditional standards. Obviously suffering from economic downturn and probably only 30% occupancy. This reduces feel and excitement of being in a hotel in the center of Manhattan.

Good location for east and west side of Manhattan.
Initial desk clerk who was inattentive and rude. However, our experience with other staff was excellent.
The Inter Continental is centrally located in Manhattan. The accommodations and dining facilities are excellent. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Easy room and elevator acces.
No coffe maker or lobby coffe available for morning jump.
Hotel is very close to the high end shopping and bank offices. Located in a very high rise district ans high scale office complex. For a family affair it does not serve my purpose. For a business trip it will be an excellent hotel.

The lobby was charming.
No vent in the bathroom - therefore, a little mold growing.
There wasn't anything outstanding about it.

Professional, friendly. Staff at a convenient location.
Everything was fine.
Hotel is in a safe area with other 4-5 star hotels. Plenty of food choices in the area. Staff is friendly and professional souvenirs in hotel less expensive than in Times Square area. Restaurants and Bar are pricey.4 block walk to Times Square, Theater District and Radio City.

Location, service, style.
Really nothing. Could have fans in bathroom but that might be a major rehab necessary.
From its premiere and convenient location, its beautiful vintage lobby and nicely appointed rooms, this hotel represents a wonderful choice for that mid town Manhattan visit. Service is efficient and courteous, and the ambience is elegant but not pretentious.
