the beds. the housekeeping staff and doorman were friendly and helpful
the front desk staff were snooty, condescending, unhelpful.

tired looking. thinks it is better than it is, and treats its patrons accordingly unless they are famous tennis players and then they brown nose like crazy. I will not stay there again. rooms were clean, and housekeeping staff and door man were wonderful. Front desk clerks need crash course in customer service.

The impact of the lobby and the friendliness of the staff made you feel you were in a luxury hotel.
The bed's mattress was uncomfortable - too soft and was high in the middle, low on the sides.

The location and ambiance of the hotel were first rate. The fact that we shared our floor with a head of state and secret service personnel standing guard only underscored the high caliber of the hotel, as well as its safety and security.

Everything was convenient for our stay there.
First room
was flooded when
I took my shower.

First day some of our things were completed soaked in water after taking a shower. The room did not have a tub and the shower was not installed correctly for showers. But they quickly gave us another room and the stay for more than 15 people in different room were satisfied.

The lobby was beautiful, the room comfortable and the staff was very helpful.
Had to change rooms because we ended up in a smoking room, which was indicated as a non-smoking room.

The lobby of the hotel was impressive. When we first checked in, we ended up in a smoking room (even though we were told it was non-smoking). I went back to talk to the person at the check-in and she immediately rectified it by putting us in a better room. Our bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom was small and dark definitely needs better lighting. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. read more

The service was excellent, loved the hotel.
Bellhop did not try hard enough to get a van cab for us.

We loved this hotel, clean, spacious room, beautiful lobby, friendly people. Close to shopping and Rockefeller Plaza.
