Great location, beautiful room, friendly staff
expensive internet
This hotel was recently redone and our room was beautiful. Very spacious, clean, and well-appointed. It was in a great location (just across the road from the park and the metro station). The staff were helpful and we got the room at a great price!

The rooms were cool in the summer. The shower was powerful.
The bathrooms were not cleaned as well as I would have liked.

Facilities on the inside were luxurious; location is good for sightseeing; Club lounge staff attentive.
Would appreciate a hotel-airport shuttle service; outside of building belies the luxury on the inside.

Good location, luxury hotel in general while room is small.
Worn carpet to very bad extent, they charged me for the use of internet while I didn't use them. Parking garage was cost Euro 32.00.

A great place for business meetings.
Staff was not friendly or helpful.
Not much to say either way. It wasn't close to shopping or nice restaurants. Our room overlooked a rooftop.

Great location.
Great value for a European hotel. Modern outside but all the old world charm inside. Good for business and family travel.

The location was fabulous.
The room was so hot we couldn't sleep.
The Intercontinental Wien has both good and bad. The good is the location. Located across the street from the Stadtpark U-Bahn stop and within walking distance of major sites like Karl's Church and the Opera House. The bad was the tiny bathroom and the horrible heating/cooling system. The room was unbelievably hot and the only way to try to cool it was to use the very noisy AC system. When we had the AC on, we couldn't sleep from the noise and it still did very little to cool the room. The heating and cooling problem ruined so much of our stay becasue we were exhausted from not getting any sleep. read more
