The location was very nice and safe, the decor was beautiful.
We left something in the hotel safe accidentally and are having a difficult time getting it back.
This hotel was in a very nice location. We were able to go for a walk down the street and it was very safe. The hotel staff is exceptionally nice and very helpful. We didn't have a rental car and there didn't seem to be any other nice restaurants close enough to walk to, so for a nice dinner your only choice is the hotel restaurant which was a bit pricey. We ordered pizza and had it delivered to the room. We left a wallet and silver necklace in the hotel safe by accident and am having a bit of trouble getting them to Fed Ex it back to us. Over all I would recommend this hotel and the free airport transport is a definite plus. From the port of Miami after our cruise it was a $40 taxi ride and it only took 10 minutes! So if you have to take a cab be prepared. read more

Luxurious.
My wife fell in a water puddle in the lobby.
The intercontinental hotel is classy and the visiting experience was memorable.

The bathroom scale was a God-send as we had done a lot of shopping and feared bags were overweight. Shower, beds were great; kids loved the movies.
Really expensive restaurant.
Perfect for our purposes - layover before and after cruise. Very comfortable beds and great shower. Good service - the shuttle driver offered to take us out that night free of charge!

Although there were planes flying directly over the hotel almost non-stop we couldn't hear them at all inside our room.
I would have been more pleased with free wireless, a mini fridge and microwave. These have become a standard in most hotels and we were disappointed.
Beautiful. We loved it and have no complaints other than they told us they had no washcloths. Not sure if it was a language barrier thing (which is a problem if you don't speak Spanish), but we bought poof's at Wal-Mart and were fine.

Free airport shuttle, and gave us a bottle of cold water on the trip to the hotel.
The restaurant was very expensive, 72.00 for 4 sandwiches!
Staff was very friendly, airport shuttle was nice and we were each greeted with a bottle of cold water. Quick check in and out. Comfortable beds, very clean. Only complaint was loud housekeepers in the morning, going up and down the halls tapping on doors shouting Housekeeping! Starting about 7am.

Comfortable bed. Professional service.
Air conditioner was not properly working.
Purpose of stay was layover between flights. Very satisfied. timing for shuttle from airport happened to work out fine (service is hourly so the wait could be long). Further from airport than expected but this did not present a problem. Several restaurants were walk able from restaurant. We went to Mac Grill which was a 5 minute walk. Overall, very good value.

The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very nicely decorated.
The bell men lost the keys to my car and used a different tag then they gave me.
For a hotel near the airport you do not hear the planes unless sitting out in the courtyard. It is very nicely decorated and the beds are very comfortable.

Bed was good.
Room was too small, nothing special.
Desk clerks were not friendly. Room was much smaller than average.
