The restaurant was great for authentic Italian food, the waiter was very nice and helpful.

Two things -- Insistence about leaving our passport (without giving us any receipt) at front desk and reluctance to accept a $100 BW gift card.

Very good location - walking distance from the main rail station of Florence. But the person at the front desk at the time of our check-in was very "difficult". Refused to give us a receipt or document for keeping our original Passports for 30 minutes for registration with police! I argued back that if I gave you cash, wouldn't you accept that (cash)? At the back of BW Gift Card it was clearly written that "treat it like cash" or something like that. This attitude of the front-desk person during check-in was very upsetting. Fortunately, the person during check-out next morning was much more reasonable have gave us a credit of about 71 EUR for 100 USD gift card. The restaurant food and people were nice. ...read more
