The Bonvecchiati is a very old Venetian palace (1790), completely refurbished during 2002-2003. Located in the heart of historic Venice in the monumental, museums, quality shopping, and area downtown. Absolutely the best location in Venice. The hotel has 112 rooms; all rooms have now Internet connection, TV satellite and in house TV movies on request. read more

Amazingly low price for the quality and location of the hotel.
It was too hot and thus noisy because we had to open the window.

The hotel seems to have two levels of quality, one five star with luxury suites and the other with small rooms however even the small rooms were very comfortable with a quality feel. The only draw back for us was the heat from the floor that we couldn't adjust. Because of that we had to open the windows and since the room overlooked a small but busy street it was noisy.
