It was clean and secure, had a shuttle to Venice.
The staff was
not helpful or friendly. The dining area was overpriced and mediocre at best. The lounge had no service and was unfriendly.

Nothing, our experience was horrible.
The room accommodations were deplorable and of the lowest quality. The bed was like sleeping on a concrete slab.

The Holiday Inn in Mestre, Italy segregates its service and accommodations according to the prices customers pay.

Very nice, spacious room, nice linen.
Rude reception staff. Broken hair dryer. Mosquito in room.

The hotel was clean. Spacious, nicely decorated room with great linen. Comfort level wasn't great, though. There was a mosquito in the room, the hair dryer wasn't working properly. There was no mini bar or a small fridge in the room. Internet service was not free and there was no printer. The worst thing was that reception staff was rude (based on American standard though).

I liked the location and price.
The breakfast was not included and they did not give us the double room right away.

We booked a double room but they had us in single beds. I had called many times to make sure we had a king size bed and they had assured me that we would. Had to throw a fit to get what we needed.

Horrible staff members. They have two kinds of rooms for the same types (e.g. standard and deluxe.) The good kind is very good but unfortunately I stayed at some very bad rooms.
