Conventioneers can "catch some rays" and then go shopping "in between business meetings" at this Uptown property, given the "wonderful rooftop pool" and the "ideal location" "right across from the Galleria"; a "frequent venue for conferences and weddings", it has "great" service and "lovely", if also "ordinary", rooms, "just don't eat here" warn foodies; P.S. a recent renovation may address concerns over "dated facilities."

The location is great because it is across the street from the Galleria Mall. The only gripe is because of its location, driving is difficult because of the traffic that is always there.

Many places to relax, enjoyed the sitting areas by the bar.
We had 2 double beds. Seemed to dip in the middle, uncomfortable.

Hotel is very clean. Staff seemed very helpful, we checked in really late and it was no big deal. Starbucks inside hotel was convenient. Room setup was nice. We had 3 people and 2 double beds. My husband and I shared one of them. We were surprised that the bed felt worn out being a Marriott. We were both constantly rolling to the middle b/c of the worn out mattress.

I would definitely stay at the Marriott again. Our room was lovely, spacious, and the hotel was quiet, which I liked.
