Jw Marriott Hotel Bangkok

Everything was perfect about this hotel except that service was difficult to get during buffet breakfast, so don't order from the menu -- get the buffet. The sky train station is about 100 meters away which made catching a taxi more convenient. The rooms are very nice, especially the double-door bathroom. Unfortunately, I don't think these double-doors can lock, so make sure you set rules on entering when staying with your friends. The lobby is nice, and so are the front desk, bell and taxi attendants. Just down the street from great shopping at Siam Paragon, and even connected to a small shopping mall across the street. read more

The JW Marriott-Bangkok is an oasis in a noisy, congested city. Step inside and you feel light-years removed from the noise and pollution outside. Marriott service is nearly always first class, but in Bangkok it's impeccable. The new bedding in the rooms is truly luxurious. The health club is excellent, and the choice of restaurants gives one great dining options just a minute from one's room. read more

Great hotel in good location for airport. Drinks and mini bar a bit extortionate over and above what you might normally expect. Bell boys, concierge and entrance staff was very helpful. Extremely good value buffet in main restaurant. Tsu and Nami restaurants unbelievably costly though.

I would highly recommend the JW Marriott for anyone who is looking for easy access to the Sky rail. We also had needed to visit a hospital and were referred to the Bumrungrad International Hospital, within walking distance of the hotel. What a bonus and top notch care.

Location is near Skyway station in the congested Sukhumvit hotel area. Cookie cutter rooms are functional and clean, but windows are sealed. Beds are not as comfortable as those used in US Marriott locations. The fitness center is very good and the pool, although not particularly large, is quite adequate.

The facility was wonderful and located right in the mix. While I appreciate the climate of terrorism that we all live in, the drastic security measures at the lobby drive-thru really jarred my nerves. Theoretically, it should have made me feel all safe but in reality, it made me fearful.

One of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Friendly, well trained staff, perfect fitness facilities, great location, good restaurants. Will be a must in my future trips to Thailand.
