Description of Days Inn Kelowna
The Days Inn - Kelowna features a spacious Santa Fe Style lobby with an adjoining alcove which hosts this locations deluxe complimentary continental breakfast. The hotel has a seasonal heated outdoor pool and year round outdoor hot tub with a heated deck. The Days Inn-Kelowna is the closest hotel to Kelowna International Airport and the University of British Columbia-Okanagan campus. We are a mere 5 kilometers from the downtown core, cultural district and gorgeous sunny beaches of Lake Okanagan. Located within 2 blocks of the hotel are several fine restaurants, Costco, The Central Park Shopping Centre (Wal-Mart, Pier 1, Home Sense, Home Outfitters, Home Depot, etc.), Scandia Golf and Games, Kelowna Grand Prix Racing, and the McCurdy Corner Grand 10 Theatre Complex. Friendly staff.
Dreadful beds.

The hotel was probably fine, but the bed was really bad, very uncomfortable. Also there was no toilet paper on the paper holder and I did not see any Kleenex in the room.

Kind of dumpy - will not be back again. The front desk night guy and day girl had the TV cranked up so loud it was hard to hear and understand what they were saying. The night guy was even harder to understand as he had only a basic understanding of English.

Very poor service.

I request downstairs room where I can load my luggage easily, but they failed to give me one. They do have a tissue box, but there was nothing there, instead of we have to use our own. We request a microwave oven and we would like to pay for it. They refused to give us one and saying we could use the one in the lobby. When we went to the lobby, there was a long line waiting to use the microwave oven. This is absolutely a shame. read more
