The staff was efficient, friendly, and informative.
Room amenities were good, but a small microwave would have been great. Noise.

My son and I usually stay in the Union Square Area, in a slightly cheaper hotel. During this stay in San Francisco our usual hotel was booked solid. The King George Hotel offers wireless internet, complimentary morning coffee, a very clean appearance in lobby, hallways, and room.

The location.
Small room at the very corner with no A/C or view.

We were told that the only twin bed room in the hotel is the one we got. We were facing a wall and no A/C. The room was very small especially for two person.

It offered Wi-fi.
No air conditioning, awful beds, small room size.

The staff was great, the facilities were quite sub par. I have never stayed at a hotel in the past without air conditioning, which this hotel was lacking. The rooms were tiny and the beds were pretty bad.

Tiny room and bathroom.

Excellent location for walking Union District. Nice bar in back of hotel. Old place but well-maintained. On busy stret so expect road and busy city noise.

fit the purpose of stay/travel.
The room was a tab bit small, but it works out for the money.

The hotel is located one block away from Union Square. For the purpose of my stay, the hotel was perfect. Overall good experience, and the hotel staff was awesome.

Initially gave me the wrong room number.

This room was perfect for me as a single business traveler, convenient to the Moscone Center as well as shopping and cable car. A very comfortable bed and room-darkening shade contributed to restful nights.

It is charming in appearance and close to shopping and great restrauants.
Can be loud if on street side. Rooms can be hot.

We love this hotel. I have stayed here a few times. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The decor is quite charming and everything is very clean. The rooms are small, but that is part of the charm of being right downtown in the middle of things. We will come back.
