The Kirkley Hotel is a beautiful full service hotel. The hotel sits at the heart of the Lynchburg Business District and is the perfect place to stay when visiting Liberty University, Lynchburg College or any of the areas local businesses. It is close to area shops, restaurants and the Airport.

The price was reasonable.
The wallpaper was peeling in some areas on the wall.

There was not a flat sheet on the bed and the front desk said that was the norm for all hotel rooms since they changed the duvet cover on the comforter. I had to get a flat sheet out of the closet and put it on the bed myself. The front desk said this concept was European. I thought that was unsanitary and unusual. The tv had 3 thick pink stripes going down the picture and I reported it to front desk on the night of checking in and they said maintenance would look at it but it was never fixed. It made the color picture distorted. read more

The beds were very comfortable.

The front desk staff was very accommodating to give us a non-smoking room. The rooms were clean and quiet, we slept great in their plush king size bed. We will be back.
