Knights Inn Chattanooga South

The hotel was more than we expected for the money. It was very spacious and comfortable. Conveniently located right off the interstate.

The area had flooding issues and the room I asked for was flooded so they moved me. We moved rooms 3 times, but the clerk was very helpful and was never irritated at us. They were renovating the 1st floor from the flooding and it smelled musky but it could not be helped. Dog friendly, had a sign at front desk saying friendly pets could stay for just $10 a night.

They should show more friendly to customers and get more breakfasts items.

This motel was basic inexpensive accommodation. There was nothing special or horrible about it. It was acceptably clean and well located near a major artery.

For someone on a budget this hotel may suffice. The hotel is an older hotel in need of remodeling. It looks like it is getting a face lift. The Good: the staff was friendly. It is conveniently located next to the interstate. It has a covered pool. (which we did not use) The room we stayed in was roomy with room for a queen bed, table, couch and coffee table and room to move around. Over all the room was clean. The bad: The room was very musty on our first day. It was better after housekeeping serviced it on the second day. The free breakfast was the bare minimum - coffee, a waffle maker, toast and English muffins (which you had to make yourself). No fruit or fresh juices or pastries. Our room was big and spacious. Had a nice room and the staff was nice and kind.
