The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful in giving restaurant advice.
The location, the cleaning associates, the room that was connected by a door, the breakfast.
I booked this hotel for five days knowing that for the price I should not expect much. My expectations still where to high, the room was connected to another by a door, our non smoking room was filled with smoke everyday, the front wall of the room looked like there were once windows that had been spray painted. Very far from downtown Savannah. The cleaning associates were extremely rude. Restaurant connected to hotel was not very appetizing. read more

The room was not clean.
The room was not clean (I cleaned the remote for the TV which was filthy), the tub did not drain well because the drain plug was broken. There was a roach on the floor, pillow cases were stained, and there was a burn hole in the blanket. The lighting in the bathroom was inadequate.

The pool was lovely , the room was a good size for 4 people, good water pressure in the shower.
Didn't receive a bill at end of stay, 4 people registered for -could only get 3 towels & wash clothes.
We had a bit of trouble getting into the Travelodge (couldn't find the driveway in. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly. We enjoyed the pool, but it "closes" at 8 PM. The beds were comfy & a good size. Good location- only took us 20 min to get into historic district, yet we were out of all the hassle of the city.

The staff (reception and housekeeping) was wonderful even though they did not have much with which to work.
They could benefit from a better pet policy and some remodeling.
This hotel is closer to a 1-star than the listed 2-star at the time of our purchase. The staff was very helpful, kind, and courteous in light of the conditions. Once the owners do some remodeling (e.g. Replace carpeting in some rooms, remove stains on bathroom floors, replace old towels) and some pest control for fleas (most likely a result of pet policy violations) a stay at the property will be a great value for guests. It is in a wonderful location! read more

The room was plain but very comfortable.
I like higher quality hotels but this place was good for what it was.
Travel lodge was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable.

Comfortable beds.
Noise. Several motorcyclists staying there.
When I checked in the clerk took a black marker and marked through the rate that printed out. I asked what the rate was and she said whatever the computer said was what you pay. I thought that it was odd that she was being evasive. The beds were comfortable but the place was noisy. Motor cycles going and coming frequently. Evidently they get a lot of motorcycle customers. There were signs posted about where you could park your motorcycles. read more

Staff was friendly and helpful.
Hard to get into because of location.
Motel staff was friendly and efficient. Clean and comfortable, but no atmosphere. Location is horrible to get into.

Location-right off the interstate.
The room was very plain.
This hotel is good for traveling on a budget. It is really convenient for traveling on the interstate.
