Close to downtown, but not too busy. Free tote bag coupon a plus.

Great location at the north end of downtown Kailua. Close to lots of shops and restaurants but not in the thick of things. Pleasant pool and nice balconies. The room was nothing fancy, but had anything you would need.

Additional charge for parking.

The staff was efficient and friendly and the room was comfortable. I had a great view of the ocean and the pool. There was an air conditioner in the room, but with the door open and the fan on it was incredibly temperate. Very close to downtown Kona (great restaurants and shops) - I walked there in about three minutes.

The hotel is very clean.
The bathroom fixtures and door need to be updated.

The hotel furniture and fixtures need to be replaced. The staff are very nice and helpful. The room is very clean including the linens.

Exceptionally pleasant and clean room, exceptionally friendly staff.

I asked for a two star hotel because I needed to save money. I was pleasantly surprised when I received much more in quality and service than I expected. The location was also wonderful. I walked everywhere, but also used the free trolley for longer distances. I would certainly use the Kona Seaside Hotel again.

The layout of the room - bed was right against the window and AC.
