Check-in was easy and the clerk helped us find the basketball game on TV.
The walls are pretty thin.

Easy to access and consistently good value. We never mind "winning" La Quinta in Champaign.

The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable.

This La Quinta is better maintained than most. The staff is friendly and location is good. I've stayed at this motel three times in the last eighteen months. The motel has been painted and upgraded over these months.

The microwave is small and low.

Do not understand why the microwave is put on the floor. The pillows are too soft and the coffee maker is dirty.

Basic, and overall cleanliness was poor.

Definitely expecting more form 2 1/2 star rating -rooms were very basic, beds were extremely uncomfortable, and you could tell the hotel was older with no attempts at renovations or remodeling. Hallway and front desk area smelled very heavily of smoke even though it is supposed to be smoke free. The thermostat could was floor unit with knob controls, which we could not get the room cool since it kicked off at it's own discretion. The bathroom was so confirmed, you hit your elbows against the wall when attempting to sit on the toilet. Staff was very unprofessional and messy looking- the front desk attendant checking us in was smoking at the front door when we came in. read more

The room was very clean. It is closer to the highway, shops and restaurants. Parking was good . I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
