This newly renovated La Quinta Inn & Suites in Layton Utah, just 30 minutes north of Salt Lake City, is conveniently located along I-15 just minutes away from Lagoon Amusement Park, Hill Air Force Base and Antelope Island. Davis Conference Center is less that a mile away and The Davis Hospital and Medical Center is just across the street. We are centrally located to Ogden and Bountiful, which makes us an ideal location for all that these areas have to offer. If you want to have an afternoon of golf we are centrally located to 8 golf courses and country clubs that are utilized by many tours. There are more than 15 restaurants within walking distance as well as two large movie theaters and Layton Hills Mall. I liked the fact that the staff was friendly and helpful.
The room could have used a microwave and/or fridge.

I was very pleased with the hotel. It was comfortable and well kept. I will likely use La Quinta in future as a result.

How clean the hotel was as a whole.
The room needed more wash clothes.

The hotel was one of the two cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. Most hotel/motels are dirty.

liked the fact it had an indoor swimming pool for the kids and breakfast as well.
I did not like that the room had a coffee maker but no sugar or creme for the coffee. I was kind of hoping to get something closer to the pool.

All in all we had fun.
I wonder if the hotel had a suite with a fridge and stove available? I don't remember if the option was offered, next time
I will ask. We checked in it took about 5 minutes and when we checked out it was less than a minute.
I liked that check out was after 12:00 pm.
