Convenience to Interstate.
Everything about this hotel.

The hotel was easy to find from the Interstate with my GPS and the check-in staff was extremely helpful and friendly. As soon as we opened the door to our room, the horrible smell hit us. Once inside, we got used to the smell. The beds were not comfortable and the blankets were minimal. The lamp between the beds did not work. When we went to take a shower, there was only enough hot water for one person - and that was with the cold water turned completely off! I had read previous comments about this hotel and thought, it can't be that bad. Well, I have to say I was 100% wrong! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, no matter how cheap the cost was. read more

Easy to find.
Smelled like mold, noisy and old.

If you ever get a chance to stay at the La Quinta on Vereteran highway in New Orleans.

Great price and very convenient!
Some of the outside lights were broken so you could not see some of the walkways.

It was conveniently located near the interstate and airport and was a great price!

Lobby was very nice, misleading as to room quality.
The horrible smell, wet carpet in room, cloudy swimming pool.

The hotel lobby presents a very nice picture, the rooms had super single beds utilized as doubles, carpet was wet, room smelled so mildewed and moldy it made your eyes water and penetrated your clothing. I had to wash everything that was in the room with us when I returned home due to the bad smell. Sheets were clean that's about the best thing about it.

It had a very nice continental breakfast. The staff was very helpful and nice.
The hotel was right next to I 10 and very noisy from the traffic, also there were a lot of young kids there partying till 3:30 am.

The room was comfortable and clean. The only bad points was the very close location to I 10 and noisy traffic from the highway. The free breakfast was very good with plenty of selection and was kept well stocked.

The name La Quinta's have always meant quality - not anymore - I'll be more careful in the future.
Location to expressway; hard getting luggage up to the room.

This hotel is so close to the expressway you can feel the trucks rumble in the room as well as the jet wash from them passing.
