La Quinta Inn North Tallahasse

Couldn't have been happier - paid extremely low rate - the bed was clean and the mattress and pillows very comfortable, floors and bathroom were very clean. Toilet tended to run but I could fix it from running myself and that was the only thing I could complain about. Would most definitely stay again.

The hotel is very old. Too close to the highway and therefore noisy. Not able to provide (do not think they tried) an extra roller bed. The toilet tank in first room was damaged: constant water refilling noise. Changed rooms and toilet had same problem. -- We forgot same items in the room and when called (less than 24 hours after departure) to ask to please return and charged shipping, never called with response. I will never go back to any La Quinta hotels. Really disappointed and mad. Beds were OK. read more

It was night and raining, so very difficult to navigate to the correct building. Some hallways had room numbers posted which did not even exist on the map we were given. The posted numbers were the ones you could see from the car without parking and getting out. Parking is not that great. Everything directional could be clearer. Also, All electrical outlets except those which had something plugged in by the motel, were covered over with no plug switch plates. This meant in order to use a medical device, I had to unplug either the bedside lamp or alarm clock. read more

Economical, easy access from interstate, clean rooms and friendly staff!

Hotel had a very convenient location. The facility itself was very clean and staff was very friendly.

I would not recommend this hotel it was dirty the carpet needed to be vacuumed the air conditioner. Did not work properly and the bathrooms were dirty.

This appears to be an older hotel. The room was sparse with no warmth. All the linens were so thin and worn. The air conditioner was very dusty and needed cleaning. We would not stay there again.

I will never stay at this place again. From the minute I tried to check-in the front desk person expressed their unhappiness. And, when they finally gave me a room - I asked if it was definitely non-smoking & he said yes, but when we walked in the smell of smoke was very strong. We were so tired that I didn't both complaining (I actually felt unsafe walking around the hotel that late at night - there was very little lighting) - When I checked out I told the morning front desk person & he confirmed that the room we had been given was a smoking room. read more
