Located in the rolling hills of West Central Texas, the La Quinta Inn San Angelo Conference Center is the place to stay for business and pleasure. Our Conference Center is a versatile facility for up to 300 people. We can accommodate all types of meetings, banquets, weddings & receptions, from 15 to 300 people. We have plenty of RV, truck, and bus parking as well as Guest Laundry facilities for our extended stay travelers. Our spacious oversized rooms come with lots of great amenities; room styles vary, including Family, Parlor, and Studio Suites with a microwave and refrigerator. We have a sparkling outdoor pool for those hot West Texas days. Guests enjoy a varied Free Bright Side BreakfastTM in our spacious Conference Center breakfast area. Breakfast was very good, variety of offerings.
Only non smoking room was available, or so we were told.

We stayed here one night on our way to New Mexico. There was a slight smell of smoke. When I asked for a non smoking room, the front desk told me there were none available.

Older hotel not well maintained. The room smelled and the bed was hard.

Economy hotel not indicative of the number of stars. I would not recommend this hotel.

The bed was comfortable.
It's a motel, straight from the 60s.

If you like motels with poorly retrofit bathrooms, this place is for you but watch yourself when you step in the tub - remember when slipping in the tub was one of the more common household accidents? Easily done.

It had a good location and free breakfast was okay.
Double bed, noisy AC, unfriendly desk staff, toilet reluctant to flush.

We would not stay there again. When we asked for a queen bed the staff said they would have to charge us for it. They said the typical room they give two adults is the one with two double beds. The tub was grungy, the toilet took lots of effort to get it to flush, and the air conditioner clanked all night.

The hotel clerk gave us a room that had poor double beds and the room had the smell of stale smoke. She said that she didn't have any king beds available nor non-smoking. Not impressed with this hotel at all.
