Great location, clean and affordable!
Right next to the freeway. Some traffic noise.

We only needed a place to rest our heads, so this hotel served it's purpose. Clean room, excellent continental breakfast, and great location for local spots around Carlsbad. Not a lot of fun stuff in walking distance, but definitely great for a starting point for a cycling trek!

Convenience to amusement parks, shopping, and restaurants.
Rooms needs to be updated, rooms look tired looking.

We enjoyed our stay and feel we got our money's worth. Staff was excellent and would recommend this hotel to others in spite of tired room look. Towels are on the thin side.

Spacious room, mini-fridge and microwave a plus, breakfast.
Too close to busy freeway, no matter what direction room faced!

This hotel was adequate, no frills, pretty decent breakfast offerings, and everything was fairly clean. I did not like that there were outdoor hallways and that it was fairly noisy due to the freeway! Had to run the AC all night long, and the room was stuffy. Overall, just okay.

Extremely nice room. We took extra pillows and did not need them. Very friendly staff and great breakfast. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area. Great rooms.

The overall appearance, friendly, helpful staff made this a perfect place for us. I would highly recommend this La Quinta to anyone.
The bathroom door, closet door, tight quarters there, pretty good for the only thing I could think of.

I was very pleased and would definitely come back, thank you for a pleasant experience!
