Beautiful bedding and comfortable beds.
Lobby smelled like smoke.
La Quinta just took over what used to be Holiday Inn Express 4 days before our visit. The bedding was beautifully brand new, and very comfortable beds - soft yet supportive! USA Today delivered to your door in the morning. Breakfast was nice. Good variety. Would definitely stay here again.

The beds were amazingly comfortable.
Staff was unfriendly and uninviting.
Aside from the very comfortable beds, this was an unpleasant stay. I booked the King Bed with Jacuzzi. When we checked into the hotel, the front desk clerk was not friendly and just seemed to want to rush and get done with checking people in. When we got to our room, it had an unpleasant smell and we were surprised to find the Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom area and not in the living room. The reason we booked this room was to be able to sit in the tub and relax while watching TV. We then traded this room for 2 queen beds. This room was nicer, more roomy, however the deadbolt was broken off and therefore the security of the room was not at its best. By the time we noticed this, we had settled in the room and had our things out. It was too much to gather things up just to move again. This seems like something that should not be overlooked, and it made me think that if this isn't a priority, something is wrong! We took advantage of the pool the night we checked in as well as the next morning. Each time we had to go to front desk to ask for towels because they were out. It seemed as if we couldn't fully relax because of these things, which makes what should be a relaxing time, not as enjoyable. We were still charged the cost of the King room, even though we stayed in a 2 Queen room. The overall experience was unfortunate. read more

Breakfast had plenty of choices and changed every 3-4 days.
Towels were removed but not replaced.
Hotel was recently remodeled. Looked nice - new. Door know to bathroom was reversed. Called desk but nothing was done with it. Wet towels were removed daily but not returned until late, if at all. Had to call desk once to get a towel, instead of 3, as expected.
