Description of Lake Tahoe Vacation Resort
The Lake Tahoe Resort has an alpine ski chalet architecture. Each unit can be rented as a two bedroom suite with fully equipped kitchen or separated into a one bedrom suite-one king bed with kitchen and full bath and a deluxe hotel unit-2 full beds wtih a full bath and mini kitchen. Kitchen units include a refrigerator/freezer / microwave / gas range / oven / diswasher / coffee maker / toaster / cookware / service for 6 mini kitchen includes small refrigerator / microwave / coffee maker / toaster / service for 4. The telephone system provides voice mail / modem access and message waiting features. Coffee makers are also included in all room types. Each bedroom has a television with remote control. The living area in the master suites has a sofa sleeper / larege television with remote control and VCP / fireplace and balcony. The master baths have jet tubs and vanity. The room was fantastic!
Timeshare.

The room was great and had everything we needed. Not so fond of sharing a door to A & B with someone else. All ice machines were on the 2nd floors
and up and I was on the 1st. Parking fee of $12 was excessive and Casinos
and other locations do not charge. Concierge was rude when I declined the Timeshare tour. He was the worst part of my experience there.

Good location, clean, good service in restaurant and bar.
When we were checking in, we found out that it was a timeshare resort.

The overall hotel was nice, however upon check in we found out this was a timeshare and felt the staff was trying to pressure us into signing up for the timeshare presentation. Took us almost 30 min to get our keys. In addition, this was 9:30 pm, after declining the offer; they even called our room around 10 pm to make sure we had not changed our mind.

Beautiful rooms, equipped with all necessities.
Really bad parking situation.

The lobby and rooms are decorated beautifully in a high-end fashion. Beds are very comfortable, although the pillows were a bit over stuffed. Great in room amenities insuring a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Very clean. Had all the amenities we were looking for, plus a great location!

Everything was perfect, until the valet expected and made a comment about a tip after we paid $15 for the service. We were a little worried about the pressure to participate in the time share presentations, but it really wasn't that bad at all.

The cleanliness.
I didn't like the fact I didn't get a king size bed as I asked for, or that the parking was a 1/4 mile away.

Overall hotel was great, however not sure if I would want to stay again due to the parking lot. Not cool.

Hit with unexpected $12/day parking. Lack of parking. No place to sit and eat in studio.

Good location. Not great views. Not enough convenient parking. Unadvertised $12/day parking fee, but free valet available. Call ahead so your car is ready when you are. No table to sit at in studio. High counter with low chairs, makes no sense. Nice warm indoor/outdoor pool. Pressure at check-in to reserve a spot to listen to a timeshare deal.
