Description of Le Meridien Montparnasse
Situated in the heart of the left bank, Le M?ridien Montparnasse immerses guests in Paris?s rich culture and refined elegance. Montparnasse emerged as the center of Parisian intellectual life at the start of the 20th century and continues to be the city?s artistic hub. Just beyond the hotel?s front door, the Saint-Germain-des-Pr?s and Luxembourg Gardens are in easy walking distance, and the Eiffel Tower is only 10 minutes away by subway. The Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Orsay museum, the Rodin Museum, and the Sorbonne University are all in close proximity to the hotel. One of Europe?s largest in-hotel meeting centres, the hotel offers a venue for any occasion. The hotel?s many amenities include a fitness room and the hotel?s restaurant, Montparnasse ?25. An array of Montparnasse Quarter etchings and French ?art de vivre? enhance the guest rooms. read more

Hotel Guest Reviews of the Le Meridien Montparnasse

Room quality was poor. Bed in particular was terrible. Definitely not Starwood caliber.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, with Air France busses from CDG stopping directly across from the hotel. The rooms are unrenovated, however they are also of very poor quality. The mattress was horrible, I ended up sleeping on pillows. The rest of the hotel was fine. I would have thought they would have maintained the Starwood "Super Sleeper Bed" program, but obviously not. read more

Convenient and safe location.
Quality of room.

The room hadn't been updated since the '80s. The lobby was attractive and active, but beyond that, this hotel was so far from 5 star. I tried on many occasions to get in touch with someone through Guest Services and only got a busy signal no matter the time. The Concierge desk was helpful, though, with my questions. Bed and bedding were extremely disappointing.

Nice lobby, friendly desk agent.
Concierge unhelpful, bathroom was horribly turquoise - seemed very outdated.

This hotel was well located, adjacent to good shopping and a metro stop. The guest rooms were very outdated and the bed was very uncomfortable, especially for a four-star hotel. The bathrooms especially were old, and the toiled smelled as though it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time.

Very convenient to Gare Montana's and Metro. Plenty of restaurants near by.
More of a commercial & transient area. Not typically of what one thinks of when one thinks of Paris.

Very clean and convenient hotel. Kind staff. Neighborhood not too romantic but a great starting off point to explore the city.

Big American style impersonal hotel without any elegance as one would expected in Paris.

The lobby and free WiFi in the lobby were nice.
The room has dated decor and the fitness facility could have been better.

Nice hotel, good location for business travelers and tourists.
