Guests of this CBD "grande dame" feel like they're "staying at Tara" thanks to the "columned entrance", the "old-world luxury" of the "magnificent lobby" and, most of all, the "top-notch" (and top-hatted) staff delivering "a heavy dose of New Orleans charm" and complimentary "nighttime snacks of peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwiches"; rooms are "smallish but comfortably appointed", and while "parking leaves a lot to be desired", the location is "one block from the streetcar."

Lobby was nice.
Rooms were horrible and outdated, far from 4 star.

This hotel is not a four star hotel, and it is a scam to ask people to pay a four star rate.

Is beautiful and staff is fabulous, the location.
Bedding is very old so are bathrooms-internet access was very less.

Perfect hotel for romantic stay. But not so great for a busy business trip! Rooms are tiny and bedding covers are so old! I had to call housekeeping to change out shower liner -and
I think tiles in tub should have been cleaner. Other than that--beautiful decor and lobby is amazing with gorgeous antiques everywhere you look.

Beautiful! New Orleans charm, comfortable, convenient, clean.
Rooms a little small.

This made me feel like I was truly in the heart of New Orleans. Beautiful chandeliers & decor, friendly service, romantic rooms, comfy bed, easy access to downtown New Orleans and great shopping and eating and music. Service excellent provided parking. Great experience.

What a wonderful staff! These people truly seemed grateful for my business!
Complimentary morning coffee was tucked away in a hidden spot. Never found it till the last day.

The staff was incredible and they truly seemed so grateful to be getting back on track. The hotel lobby was beautifully furnished and so clean. Room was small but cozy. Loved the roof top pool too. Located in a convenient walking distance to everything we planned. Will definitely plan to return!

Bed covers were the most comfortable ever and the room thermostat was great.
Lack of detailed cleaning - behind toilet seat cover, corners of floors, closet fuzzies.

This hotel is a great place to stay in New Orleans, especially with the street cars back on line, you can go up town or Downtown very quickly within a 3-4 block walk.
The tradeoff One downfall, No conveniences, like corner stores or shops in the surrounding blocks - it's either you have to take expensive room service/restaurant service or take a 3-4 block hike to the nearest cup of coffee or snack. read more

The hotel is beautiful and the staff was amazing!

The Le Pavilion Hotel is absolutely beautiful! The location is great if you have business downtown or are in town for a convention. The staff was extremely nice and helpful with any and all of my needs. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to N.O.

Beautiful old-world French ambiance.
Expensive parking (typical for New Orleans).

This 100 year old hotel is quaint and beautiful. We really enjoy the doormen, the other staff's friendliness, and the quirky 10pm snack of PB $ J sandwiches and hot chocolate. The European feel of the hotel makes you feel like you are in another time and place. We highly recommend it.

Absolutely one of the nicest hotels in New Orleans.

For the price, I could not possibly be happier. This was a supurb hotel.
