Very large room for Europe, comfortable bed, spacious and clean bathroom.
Hallways appeared a bit dated according to Marriott standards, but still nice for Europe.

For a European hotel, we were very pleased with our stay. The hotel was clean, well-kept and provided the three things we were looking for: a comfortable bed, nice shower, and clean bathroom. The hotel is not in the best location, but for the price we paid we were happy to use our savings for a taxi or bus fare.

Hotel staff were excellent. I had a sick child. They went out of their way to help me with the pharmacist so I could get medicine for him.
Location is very inconvenient. Also, if you are looking for a more "Greek" experience, this is not the hotel. It's like a slice of America.

I'd say this is an excellent business hotel, but if you want to be close to Athens' main attractions, this is not the place to be. For a business person, this hotel would be great. It's comfortable, sparkling clean, and has excellent staff. Additionally, it includes amenities such as free wifi and outlets that will accept a variety plugs. It also has some very nice conference areas and a pool.However, I was traveling with my family (including children ages 7 and 3), so we were more interested in sight-seeing than in business conveniences. As a result, I wish that I had booked somewhere closer to the Plaka, Syndagma Square, or Monastiraki. Also, although the hotel was quite beautiful, I wish that I had booked in a Greek hotel for a more local experience. read more

Front desk personnel were often rude and rushed.

Great pool, good food/service at restaurant pool. Location a challenge. Front desk often rude and unhelpful. Does not respond to emails ever.

It's a well located high class hotel which we love to visit.
The previous time we stayed we were upgraded - sadly not this time!

Ledra Marriott is a well established high class hotel, enjoying a premier reputation in Athens. We love to stay there to break our holiday journey from the UK to one or other Greek resort or island. We have now stayed five or six times for this purpose, and have never been disappointed. The view of the Akropolis from the roof-top Panorama restaurant is to die for, especially after dark. read more
