Libertyville Days Inn

I stayed at this hotel because my daughter was graduating from Naval boot camp and it was convenient to the base. The staff had taken care of printing out the base pass for me and let me know the best time to leave to avoid traffic and be there in plenty of time. The room was very clean and neat when I arrived and the cleaning staff made sure it was that way every time I returned. All in all I enjoyed every minute of my stay. read more

Was half the price of the conference recommended hotel, and quite adequate for a couple nights away from home. Nice staff gave me good directions for a morning run that took me off the beaten path.

The location is pretty good for it's size. Nice location in Liberty ville. Convenient drive to the main downtown district there. Liked the access to come of the conveniences located around the edge of the parking lot as well.

Good for the pricing. In fact, very good. Bed was even a little better than anticipated. My two big hotel things: never want to hear my neighbors TV or the guy walking around over my ceiling and an HVAC that shuts off when hitting my temp.

Overall was a nice stay. One evening was very loud because there were some partier that were there for the navel graduation.

I would not stay at this hotel again if it were free. Guests were kept up the entire night with a large group of 20 somethings running in halls, slamming doors, reving cars etc. The next day management said they could do nothing about it as they did not know who the offenders were. They knew this was a large group celebrating graduation from Naval training.

The lobby was a hangout for riff-raff. My was comfortable going through it alone. The continental breakfast was atrocious. There was a full tablespoon of grounds in my cup of coffee and the juice was really watered down. The room was on par with what I expected, but my toes kept getting tangled in the threads from the bedspread. I wanted to travel cheap and I did. The area surrounding the hotel is nice. There is a Walgreen's, Starbucks and some good boutique restaurants. It is easy to find, and has great local and expressway access. The room size was fine and the bed was comfortable. On the other hand, the bathroom shower had some mold in it. Perhaps the cleaning people are short and hence are not subjected to looking at it when standing in the shower like me. Additionally, the wireless internet was down an entire day and two of the vending machines at my money without dispensing. Oh yeah, whether you took the stairs or the elevator, you felt dirtier than prior to your ascent or descent. read more

Nothing really bad to say room was clean, and we had plenty of towels, and the heater worked!
