Lions Gate Hotel

I would recommend this hotel. The service was good. We did not eat there. But I did ask for a menu, so we could review, and there was not one available without going into the bar, because the restaurant was closed. There should be one in the room. We may have eaten there if the prices were comparable to other places, so we ate before we got back to the hotel, only because we had so much budgeted for food and had no idea if the prices were high or not. Excellent breakfast included; comfortable, very helpful and hospitable staff, great public areas.

Once the remodeling is done in the lobby of the hotel it will be very good. The room was clean and very nice. I will stay there again if in the area.

I like the hotel overall, staff were very friendly and helpful, complimentary breakfast was good, hotel is clean, the only negative I could say is the location...quite far from CAL Expo.

This was an unusual hotel, remodeled from BOQ on a former military base. Rooms were suites, large and comfortable with microwave, small refrigerator, separate sitting area. It was close enough to my business meeting to be convenient, but I would have rather been closer to Alden. Hot breakfast in the morning.

Large sprawling complex, appears to be extensively renovated military housing, plenty of space and ok for business travel but not really set up for business traveler. Comfortable bed and room, nice shower and bathrobe. Needs in room Wife access.
