The friendly and knowledgeable staff.
The view from my 9th floor room was horrible!
This was a lovely hotel and great value. However, if you are a fan of the Loews brand of hotels, this particular property is the Loewest of the Loews. In no way is bad, but it is simply not the same quality as other Loews properties. It was a comfortable place to stay I was there for over a week and the service was great. However, when I checked in the first night, I was given a room that hadn't been cleaned yet. Then, I was moved to a room that was on a higher floor only to find that the view out my window was that of a parking lot and a strip mall. It looked like I was looking at a neighborhood in Detroit! When I booked the room it specifically said the view would be of either the mountains or downtown Denver. This was definitely not the case and was completely false advertising since 50% of the rooms there have the Detroit view. Drinks at the bar which closes quite early were, as expected, overpriced - but the selection of liquors and quality of drinks were not even close to what they should have been for a 4 star hotel lounge-only two Vodkas one of which was absolute! Overall, I would recommend this property only if you don't need to be downtown each day and only if you are guaranteed a room with the mountain/city view. read more

Service was phenomenal. Decor was beautiful. Bed was super comfortable.
Price of drinks at the bar were very high.
Loew's was easy to find but off the tourist path of Cherry Creek. The shuttle service solved that problem and in no time we were in downtown Denver. We were given a west facing room without asking for it. The room was lovely. A great deal for what we paid.

The decor of the lobby was warm and inviting.
It was not anything special. I expected more from the Loews brand.
The Loews Denver was a very nice hotel. The rooms were what I would expect from a reputable hotel brand. However, they were not remarkable. The lobby was very well decorated and inviting. I am sure it is even more during the winter months. I went to the bar on a Friday night and I was one of three patrons, so it was certainly not the "place to be." Again, this was a very nice place to stay (decor, cleanliness, accommodations). However, I expected more based on what I have heard about the Loews brand. read more

Great views, comfortable, quiet and
great staff.
I have stayed at the place three occasions. Everything is of a high standard, maintained consistently. Staff at every level was upbeat and genuinely hospitable.
