The location is superb and the views are wonderful. I love the South Bank in any case.

Great location. Wonderful views. And a very nicely presented hotel. My room was spacious and comfortable and all public areas were excellently maintained. Staff were courteous and efficient; not exactly friendly, but more professional and attentive which, frankly, is how I like it.

Great location to transportation (Waterloo Station) and sightseeing. Safe for a woman alone.
The public areas are fairly minimal in size but the bar looked over the Thames.

Great location, amazing gym - best hotel gym ever.
Difficult access to lobby and rooms.

Mixed review of the staff - some fantastic, some horrible; broken phone.

Large rooms especially for London, Excellent location.
Long elevator waits and extremely long walk down corridors to hotel room.

A good quality Marriott, but really a 4 star hotel by U.S. standards.

The room was clean.
It was old, remote to a tube and wildly overpriced.

The hotel was wildly overpriced. The rooms were adequate but the hairdryer didn't work and I received little satisfaction when I complained about it. The front desk staff told me that such problems are common in most hotels! I am 60 years old. I have traveled to 56 countries in my long work career and I am told by a 23 year old that this" is quite common in many hotels!". The concierge was, I must admit, excellent! A two star Holiday Inn in Omaho would be my choice over this hotel. read more

The location is fantastic, the views spectacular, close to public transit, great staff.
While the views were legendary and rooms were large, I expected them to be higher quality inside for a 5-star hotel.

The views are legendary, spectacular scenes of London overlooking the Thames, London Eye, Parliament & Big Ben. The rooms are very large for London, but were furnished a a four-star rating, albeit very clean with good wireless connections. The hotel staff was immensely helpful, whether it be wakeup calls, room service, business services or recommending the best Saville Row tailor to alter a ball gown for a formal event at the end of the week. The location couldn't be better, close to Waterloo station and at the foot of the Westminster Bridge. Would recommend it to anyone. It is a very good deal, especially given the dollar's declining value. read more
