Hotel was nice enough but wouldn't want to stay there again b/c it is an inconvenient location relative to proximity to main business district of Central London.

Convenient, clean rooms, helpful staff.
Party with loud music in nearby meeting room until 1:00 am.

The hotel was a short walk from Paddington Station and Marble Arch, and in a nice neighborhood that seems to mainly cater to locals. Good, inexpensive Middle Eastern and Indian restaurants nearby. The room was clean and nicely appointed, staff was helpful and friendly. Internet is costly, but desk clerk gave us a 15 minute card (normally 3 GBP) and did not charge us for it. What would have been an optimal visit, however, was spoiled by a very loud party with music and a DJ held in a nearby meeting room. Although we called to complain at midnight, no action was taken, and the music continued until 1 am. This hotel and others should reconsider renting facilities for noisy, late night events which disturb hotel guests. read more
