Majestic Beach Resort

On this trip it was just my daughter and myself. The room was perfect for 2 people, had everything we needed. Great view of the Gulf. I was also pleased that the parking garage was tall enough for an SUV with a Luggage Carrier, we have had problems with that at other places we have stayed. I would stay there again.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was nice and also the staff.

Hotel location very good, between downtown and new Pier Point within driving distance. Shuttle available but did not use. Free parking across the street with skywalk access. Pools, decks, beaches clean and in good repair. Room layout very nice, roomy, clean and is good value. Did not experience long waits for elevator, at least in tower 1. Nice feature is free DVD rental from vending machines in lobby. Lovely view from balcony - ocean view (all rooms are ocean-view). Very family-friendly with kids everywhere. Probably not the best for peace and quiet, or a romantic getaway. Only negative is that the room overall needs updating (starting to feel shabby) though well decorated, furniture and area rugs are stained and throw pillows falling apart. TV in bedroom non-functional. Restaurant food was excellent! Would have eaten there more often had we tried it earlier in the stay. Would recommend as a 3-star, and a good value.
