The staff was very helpful. They were enthusiastic and answered all questions asked with polite concern and candor.
The view is spectacular. The bedspreads and the carpet were very utilitarian. Not really giving me the feeling of cleanliness, both should be updated.
I really liked the staff, who were all very enthusiastic and helpful. The view was excellent and I was upgraded to an ocean view room at no extra charge. Very nice. The room itself could use some updating but it is nice to still see a hotel with safes for valuables and mini fridges. Thanks again Makai and Priceline.

It is on the beach, close to restaurants, and a liquor store.
The room had a smell to it.
Overall, the hotel was great. My only negative things were the smell in the room and the door looked like it had been forced open before. Great thing is that they have a covered parking area where I was able to park the motorcycle.

That the beach was right there,
The appreance of the hotel was distasteful.
The hotel was not to our expectation it was more of a motel than a hotel. It is in need of major repairs inside and outside. The rooms are 80's style fashion and so out dated, the bathroom was small. The closet was horrible no hangers provided and it was the size of a kitchen pantry. The elevator was a nightmare old fashion wih no ac, no space and took forever for it to arrive. Overall the staff were friendly and extermly wonderful. There breakfast contiental was not to my standard. If you are looking for a place that is convient than I would recommend this hotel but don't buy the hype on the picture because it is nothing near to what you'll get. read more

The hotel was attractive, worth the money.
There were some kind of biting bugs all around the back of the hotel facing the beach.
The hotel was fairly nice and most of the staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't like it that we had to pay 3 dollars a day for parking. Also the room attendant we had cleaned our room the last day we were there and we had forgotten our beach towels and some linen.

The good thing was the fact that the hotel was on the ocean.
Excellent for those who want the ocean at their door step.

Location was great, room was clean, lobby was nice, large breakfast area, nice staff.
Carpet had the salty feeling to it, but being on the beach you have to expect that, beds could be updated.
If your used to the nicer things in life you would not like this hotel. Clean and we could walk right out onto the beach. The pool was nice and clean, although the pool chairs could use an upgrade. The Jacuzzi was clean and felt great at night with the cool ocean breeze. Overall, I'd stay here again for the money.

Inexpensive, on the ocean and good pool.
Appearance, slow elevators and musty smell.
Great location and view on the ocean if you are traveling on a very limited budget.

Wonderful little town and location. The staff was great.
Elevator dirty, no screen on patio door, paint peeling in bathroom ceiling, room door was not very attractive (had been broken several times.)
Although the staff was wonderful the property needs a lot of maintenance. There was peeling paint almost everywhere you looked. Elevator slow and dirty and please, screen needed on patio door. Parking leaves a lot to be desired.
