This hotel gave considerable money to pass Proposition 8 which took marriage rights away from many Californians. Had I known this I would not have stayed at this hotel.

The view was great but they relied on it and small beds made it unbearable to stay.
Two beds in a room should be queen size, one towel an a two hour wait for more, huge cost for parking.
The grandeur of the lobby was impressive, but, the good size room had two full size beds,(Small), no queen size at the hotel. My wife and I spent the night trying not to fall off the bed. The spacious bathroom had only one bath towel and no wash cloths. It took room service two hours to arrive with more towels.

Location was amazing and the room was great - bay views!
The hotel restaurants were overpriced and the quality did not match the price tag.
Great hotel, nice work out facilities, VERY good location close to the harbor, downtown and the cruise terminal. Pass on the hotel food - much better and less expensive places are within walking distance. Conventions held there can be crowding and the people at them very drunk and obnoxious.

Beautiful facility.
Parking in San Diego can be expensive.
The public areas is grand! Other reviews say the rooms are date but it's just the Hyatt classic look. This isn't the Wynn.

Excellent lobby and facilities, excellent location, and a great view.
Room were not well dusted, very few towels, you have to pay extra for using almost any facility.
The hotel is beautiful. It has an impressive lobby. The room view was very nice too. Rooms are good, but standard. It seems that they are short on towels and the bathroom shelf was dusty. The bathroom sink was plugged so we had to call for repair very late at night.
