gave us a longer departure time due to medical emergency/ couldn't give us a nonsmoking room so upgraded to executive floor
the non smoking room but we were compensated

The staff was extremely helpful. I left a bag in the taxi from the cruise ship to hotel. They tracked it down and within 20 crazy minutes it was returned.My new amber necklace and daily travel diary came back! At the end of the stay they got a big van to take all our luggage and us to the airport at 4 am. Before we always needed two taxis.

Very comfortable room, nice staff and concierge.
No coffee maker in the room.

Hotel is very nice and staff is very helpful. If you can walk several blocks into the center than this hotel is fine. If you cannot walk very far you either have to pay for a taxi each time you want to go someplace in town or stay around the hotel facility only. There is nothing next door to the hotel that would be interesting although the hotel rear view is of the canal. There are plenty of taxis that are waiting outside the hotel so no problem getting a taxi. You are fairly close to the train station about 3 blocks from the hotel. Too far to walk with heavy bags so you would need a taxi if you take the train from the airport. read more
