Description of Marriott Grand Hotel Milano Hotel
The Milan Marriott Hotel is located in a residential area, adjacent to the Milan City Fairgrounds and a short distance from the city centre. The hotel has 294 Deluxe Rooms, 18 Executive Rooms, 9 Junior Suites and 1 Presidential Suite. Each room features LCD TV with On Demand System, satellite, air-conditioning, mini-bar, safe, double telephone lines and Wi-Fi Internet connection. The suites feature both bathtubs and showers. The Meeting & Conference Centre is one of the most important and elegant in the city: 22 meeting rooms occupy 2,300 sq. m. and are equipped to host all kind of events. The Washington Meeting Room is 900 sq. m. and 8 m. high ceilings and has a capacity to hold up to 1,200 people. The Restaurant 'La Brasserie de Milan' offers the best in regional and Mediterranean cuisine. It is open for breakfast, and also serves lunch and dinner from 12:30 pm to 11:00 pm daily. There is friendly staff which speaks fluent English.
Common areas decorated in too many bright colors that are an affront to the senses.

he breakfast was bad and could be improved. The common areas are comfortably furnished and decorated, although the room decorations are a bit cheesy.

Very clean well-designed rooms. Concierge was helpful in arranging tour tickets.
No complimentary coffee or internet in the rooms. Made do with two individual beds instead of one big one.

Very clean hotel, with good service. Ideally suited for the business traveler with a spending account, but not for the leisure traveler. Not in a very interesting area for a vacation (it is a mostly residential area), and the area over which the rooms looked was not especially pleasing.

The windows in the room could be opened.
The carpets in the hall are threadbare and you can see down into the floor.

The room safe didn't work, no adapter was available for my computer. The bidet did not drain. Lot's of problems with the maintenance of this property.
