It has nice grounds and it provided a haven, especially compared to other hotels in the area.
The mattress sunk in the middle and disturbs my sleep a bit.

The Marriott Hollings Hall is set in large grounds and provides comfortable accommodation and golfing and indoor swimming and gym facilities. The hotel seems to attract families at weekends. The staff was attentive and friendly and many were young continentals. I suspect that they were there to improve their English language skills. Breakfast was complimentary and it was buffet style at weekends and a la carte during the week. The food was fair quality.

The food, gym facilities and staff was wonderful. The room was spacious and clean!
There is nothing we didn't like about the hotel.

This is a hotel that is close to Leeds and York. The hotel is a beautiful property on top of a hill with a gorgeous view of the area. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent quality and the room was spacious. Our room was not warm when we got there, but the general manager personally checked our heating and then promptly supplemented with a portable heater so that we were comfortable. Our heating had just been turned on before we got there and hadn't warmed the room just yet. Excellent experience! read more
