Loved the beds.
Tried to charge for bottled water without having a sign telling us.
Was convenient to light rail and Rice University, the beds were great. Front desk tried to nickel and dime me over bottled water in room. Overall a good experience.

Pool was heated, and not crowded..
No parking. Unless you are paying for it.
Overall OK hotel, still do not believe it was worth the price. Parking was a night mare, just getting into the hotel was a pain. Then to find out that if i was not going pay 22 dollars for valet.

Toliet stopped up, air conditioner leaked
The people were friendly but the toilet stopped up for 24 hours. The air conditioner leaked in the room and the carpet was wet from it. My bed was very comfortable.

Parking in Houston is never great as you HAVE to VALET, no in & out self parking priv.

Good location.
Being charged for parking & internet access was terrible.
I was unhappy with the shortage of coffee condiments in the room, but otherwise it was fine.

It was very close to the metro station.
Had to pay to park at the hotel.
Good hotel. Friendly, very helpful staff. Bellman even printed directions for us to some of the attractions we were looking for.Could ride the metro to the Astrodome or the Astros ballpark. Inexpensive to ride.

Comfortable beds and pillows.
Free shuttle did not go far enough for us.
Very comfortable hotel with interesting rooms, very comfortable beds, and everything in good condition. Common areas were very comfortable for hanging out with family and friends. Free shuttle gets you anywhere within a 2 mile radius, at request whenever you need it. Parking garage is reasonable but with no in-and-out privileges, it can quickly get expensive if you so sightseeing. read more
