It was very close to the metro station.
Had to pay to park at the hotel.
Good hotel. Friendly, very helpful staff. Bellman even printed directions for us to some of the attractions we were looking for.Could ride the metro to the Astrodome or the Astros ballpark. Inexpensive to ride.

Comfortable beds and pillows.
Free shuttle did not go far enough for us.
Very comfortable hotel with interesting rooms, very comfortable beds, and everything in good condition. Common areas were very comfortable for hanging out with family and friends. Free shuttle gets you anywhere within a 2 mile radius, at request whenever you need it. Parking garage is reasonable but with no in-and-out privileges, it can quickly get expensive if you so sightseeing. read more

Very clean, comfortable, modern and quiet.
The man at the counter assumed that my husband made the reservations. He never made eye contact or spoke to me.
This hotel is very modern, clean and comfortable. Great food and atmosphere in the bar. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

Convenient parking during the weekend and beautifully designed interiors.
The facilities were very nice and the location was near the loop of the city and you have easy access to downtown and other areas of town.

The valet service was nice.
The mandatory parking fee was terrible. You had to choose valet if going in and out or you couldn't afford it.
We were in town for a Rockets game and the hotel was really not convenient. For an older hotel, it was really well maintained. The room we had was small. The lack of complementary WIFI was discouraging. The valets were wonderful, and if you are staying there and plan to leave the hotel even once, it is worth the cost because there is a charge for every time you self park. If you have family in the hospital it is perfect. Be careful, the parking entrance is not on Fannin, Look for the alley to park your car. read more

Pool had a sundeck!
Construction noise outside when you sat on the sundeck.
Great! Clean and
safe! Across from the train.

Convenient for our needs, upbeat staff, good neighborhood, very clean and shiny.
The parking fee was $21.95 a day which is over the top - especially in this location and would deter me from staying there again.
We were pleased with this Marriott and the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. It was convenient, clean, good neighborhood near restaurants and had a shuttle to those locations but the parking was very expensive and over the top ($21.95 a day) so we would not stay at this location in the future.

I loved that this hotel was so close to the metrorail.
Food in restaurant too expensive; not very good.
We stayed at the hotel to attend the Houston Livestock Show. I was pleased that the hotel was near the metrorail which made it very convenient and cheaper to go to and from the Reliant Stadium. We arrived late Friday night so decided to dine at Driscolls. There was not much to choose from and a little expensive. Not very good food at all.
