I absolutely love the location of this hotel.
I was on the third floor - would have preferred a view.

This was not my first stay at this hotel. I have stayed here several times before, but it had been a few years ago. I am happy to say that the service and the accommodations were just as good as I remembered them from a few years ago.

Convenient location, room decor modern but warm, efficient, friendly staff.
Business center computer use is expensive ($0.59 per minute), cannot charge to room and it overcharged my credit card.

My room had a fantastic view of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Empire State Bldg.
Internet should be free in the rooms.

Size of the room and refrigerator.

Staff was very courteous and friendly, from the staff geeting people at the door to the front desk staff. The room I had was spacious especially compared to another comparably priced upscale hotel I stayed in last year in New York. I also like the fact that there was a small refrigerator in the room for your own snacks or drinks, etc.

Overall, I liked the hotel. The room and surroundings was clean and well kept. Superb staff. Great location. My dislike was that there was only a limited number of TV stations. Secondly, I didn't care that I had to pay for internet connection, even for wireless. It was so expensive seeing that all I wanted to do was check my email. Parking was awful. My husband had to pay $36 for parking overnight, parked for less than 12 hours. read more
