Good atmosphere.
A mishap with a wet mattress in which the cleaning used a heavy duty cleaning solution for the mattress then made up the bed. The spot remained wet.

Close to the La Guardia airport with shuttle.
There was only an open pub for eating.

Hotel is a 5-minute walk from LGA airport.
Promised shuttle to take me from LGA terminal to hotel never arrived.

The Marriott runs a shuttle van to and from nearby LGA airport. It is nearly in sight of the baggage carousels, and only a 5-minute walk outside of the airport. This proximity was my good fortune, as the shuttle promised by the pleasant switchboard operators never arrived, making my late-night arrival that much later. The hotel itself has too-well-worn public spaces. Happily, the room itself was nice, and the bed was firm. read more
