Beds are so cozy. Easy access to freeway. Very clean.
Pay for parking. If you park on street on a weekend
you have to move your car at 3am.
Overall, very nice. Be prepared to pay for parking unless you don't mind going down to move it. They also gave valet if you prefer. Rooms are good size. Beds are great. They offer late check-out and early check-in. Just ask. There are some good restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance.

I enjoyed the view of downtown Oakland and the overall appearance of the room.
I thought some of the staff was overworked or unenthusiastic about having to work at the hotel.
The place is nice inside and out. The food is good and the atmosphere is OK. However some of the staff seem a bit taxed.

This hotel was really pretty and had comfy beds and pillows.
The internet was expensive. It should be free in 2009.
This is a really nice hotel, probably good for business travelers with expense accounts. The internet and dining options were expensive. I really appreciate free WiFi in a hotel, and this was not offered here. Seems like if you are in a higher quality hotel that should be an added amenity, not an additional cost.

The restaurants around the corner.
No front desk help.
The place is kind of hard to find, entrance on side street. Its past its prime in the hood. But the nickel and dime aspect makes this a looser 29 buck for parking and internet is 12 bucks. Just not a get down and work sort of place..

It was super clean and the view of the Bay area bridges at sunset was world class.
Great place but hard to navigate the one-way streets. The valet parking was nice but very pricing especially when you add the tip page into the price.
