Very close to convention center.
Elevators were not working the first day.

Very nice hotel. Staff was friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

Charging for parking was excessive.

Everything was great, except the part of charging $33 a night for parking. I complained at check out time but they didn't seem to care.

The location of the hotel makes things of interest in San Antonio close by.
The staffs were efficient at their work.

The location of the hotel makes things very accessible. This is particularly very helpful if one doesn't know where things are located, particularly essential things like restaurants, drugstores, and etc. This hotel is really for business travelers or when traveling without children. Overall, the experience was a good one, but don't valet park in this hotel particularly during very busy time. You will be waiting for 45 minutes or longer to get your car. read more

The bed was very comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful.
The pool was small and did not have a very relaxing atmosphere.

This hotel was nice, but I do not think it should be considered four star. The rooms were clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is located on the Riverwalk and had easy access to river level. The room was slightly noisy and the train could be heard. The stay was very pleasant, but I think this hotel should be a 3 or 3.5 star.

Noisy in halls.

The rooms was beautiful. Wide-screen TV, lovely bathroom, Bath and Body Works supplies, view of the river from high floor with a wee balcony. One draw back was that it was noisy in the halls and when the window was open, so if you are sensitive to this bring ear plugs. I sleep like a log so no bother there. Bed was just wonderful! Love the new linen! Starbucks and really nice bar in the lobby. Check in for airport. Lovely pool and hot tub. We were just loving this! read more

Typical Marriott good service, comfortable rooms. Served our needs, which, for this trip, was just a place to sleep. Wouldn't recommend for a solely romantic getaway. Nothing spectacular, but certainly acceptable for a short stay.

Great location, direct access to Riverwalk and Rivercenter, comfortable rooms and nice staff.
Some rooms, however don't have a nice view of Riverwalk. Everything else is pretty good. In sum, a great alternative for the price.
