The staff was courteous.
Dated decor in a poor location.

The staff was courteous. However, that could not overcome a dated decor. This hotel should have been renovated 20 years ago.

Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was large. Well equipped room with TV . Location was great for Convention center and riverwalk.
Had to pay for WiFi. No hotel information, ie where amenities were located.

Parking.

I got a good price at the hotel, but had to pay $21/day for parking as a guest. I could have stayed elsewhere closer to my convention for the same price or cheaper. I don't suggest this hotel due to the outrageous guest parking fees.

Bed very comfortable.
Did not like having to park in a parking lot and pay extra for it.

Beds were good. I wish we would have had one king bed instead of 2 full. Needed coffee and it was too late to get it. Over all everything was good.

Convenient walkable location to the River Walk.
Room was a bit musty.

Good for the purpose. I was looking for a downtown location convenient to the River Walk for an overnight stay. Not the nicest Marriott, but for the money it worked just fine.

It was in downtown
Everything was ala carte

I thought I was getting a great deal at first, then when I got there I found I was wrong. The hotel room itself felt like it belonged in a much cheaper hotel. It was not the cleanest I have ever seen and the A/C was loud. On top of that everything in the hotel had to be purchased, parking, internet acceses, I guess it is for the privlage of being down town. Over all I just felt like the hotel was not as nice or clean as the much cheaper one I stayed in a few nights earlier. read more
