I will be using Priceline to return to this hotel very soon.
Arrival
The valet was a $32/day, normal in San Diego. I have a large vehicle. Flawless service.
The registration desk - No waiting - flawless service.
The room - Better than expected. Bed was comfortable. No odors anywhere. AC work great.
The dining - We went to Roy's Hawaiian. Pricey but very good. Get there early for the sunset.
Sleeping - No loud noises heard.
Morning - Starbucks for coffee in the hotel then a bike ride around Harbor Island for a burger and a beer.
Departure - No unexpected events.
Overall - Perfect weekend. read more

Beautiful Hotel. The resort setting was great.
Hotel needs some basic maintenance and cleaning. The elevators were very slow, there only seemed to be 2 working in a bank of six elevators.
The hotel staff was great. Huge place. They upgraded us at no charge to a suite since they did not have the adjoining rooms promised over the phone. The suite was huge with a kitchenette and several balconies. very clean. There a lot of people staying here. The place is huge. Waiting for an elevator was monotonous. It took 15 minutes to get in due to crowds and lack of working elevators. read more

Pleasant rooms and views.
Hordes of kids, dogs and over crowded.
Marriott is one of our favorite chains, however over the holiday weekend Labor Day this hotel was so over booked you couldn't move in any of the public areas or pools line for valet parking was well over 30 minutes and check in was about the same.

Everyone had a smile on there face, parking and check in was easy also!
Pool was very busy, not enough lounge chairs.
The location is awesome if you have sights to see down town. Also you’re on the bay so it is such a beautiful view. There seemed to be many weddings and other family events gong on, though you still felt like you were taken care of.

LIked the location & facilities
Even though I called a wk earlier to confirm bed options, it was not given & nothing was done after our complaint
The Marriott was very nice and had a great location if you wanted to walk to the water or the Gaslamp Quarter area. It was very clean and aesthetically nice. Customer service to accommodate customers was lacking. Paying $26/ day for parking is a bit ridiculous. All in all, it was a good experience, though. We would definitely stay there again.
