Huge room, right near SF shopping center, close to public trans.
Restaurant very pricey, Starbucks more expensive because it's in lobby.
Great location, in the heart of the shopping area of SF. Lots of hustle bustle in lobby. Convenient Starbucks in lobby but prices are about 60% higher for the convenience, not worth it because there is one on the corner. Great views from our room after a $20 upgrade per night. We were on the 31st floor, if we didn't upgrade we would have been on floor 4-8.

Staff was excellent.
Valet parking was abandoned when I arrived.
Very efficient staff and organization. Easy place to be. Valet Parking staff always had the car ready when I needed it. Great view; dirty windows.

Comfortable rooms, great bar tender and check in agent.
Valet parking was not easy and attendants did not take bags into hotel.
Overall the stay was wonderful! Valet parking is not easy, especially if you miss the entrance the first time around.

Great Location and quality of services.

WIFI in rooms! Additionally you had to pay for internet service!
The hotel is in a great location, close to the Financial District, China town, SFMOMA, and to Union Square. The rooms are nice at least 3 star if not more. Beds super comfy. Rooms very clean. All in all we felt that the hotel was great and would certainly stay there again. The only downside to staying at this hotel is that they do not provide free WIFI or Internet access to people staying at the hotel. You can get WIFI in the lobby, but they have a connection charge! In room connection was something like $15 a day! Nearly every hotel we have stayed at in the last 2 years has had free high speed Internet connection. This is certainly one big improvement that this Marriott could make! In fact, most other Marriott's provide this service free of charge. This is certainly a downside for a business traveler, which I would think are a very large percentage of their guests. read more

Location.
TV service
and no free wifi.
It was a moderate little hotel with few amenities but clean beds. The TV was over the air, not cable, which was disappointing. And the menu for the movies to order was fuzzy, I assume the movies would have been fuzzy, too. It was a good place to sleep, but that's it.

Nice pool, nice rooms except for the ridiculous plumbing problem.
Completely unacceptable to put a guest in a room with a known problem.
Do not stay here. Major problems with plumbing. You will not sleep. Cannot believe this is a Marriott.
