Reservation was not kept; had to move to handicapped accessible room for first night to get a non-smoking room.

Great location, well appointed, comfortable beds, helpful concierge.
The pool/spa complex was being renovated that was disappointing.

The Sydney Marriott is a great place to stay. After staying at two other hotels in Sydney and Melbourne that disappointed me, the Marriott was a treat.

The location was wonderful, near the wharves, restaurants, opera house and bus tours.
Elevators can be slow at busy times.

Great price for this hotel due to great location. Only catch due to the price is city view, not harbor view. Sydney is a large city, so being near major transportation, ferries and tour buses was time saving as well. There are so many places to eat from cafes to harbor side dining all within walking distance. The staff, especially the concierge and bell man were very helpful. The room was very clean, spacious and comfy. Only complaint was the wait for elevators at the busy check out times, but the hotel is almost done with refurbishing them. read more

Location. Nice, clean, decent view even of the city (not harbor).
No refrigerator space without taking out your bottles that you sell.

Would recommend it to friends. It is a big, business hotel, but we were just leisure travelers and it was great. The location is outstanding.
