The view and that was located close to restaurants and the grocery store.
No bath robes, no self parking, valet parking was only for $22 a day and you have to tip several times.

This hotel was very nice. Clean, close to restaurants, shops and the grocery store. I loved that it had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Wonderful to have when you are traveling with a toddler. The view was great but the room was a bit small.

Very close to Heavenly Ski lifts and clean!

Hotel was very clean. Tons of amenities in the room I stayed in such as a full kitchen with dishwasher, and a washer/dryer. Staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay in this hotel next time I am in Lake Tahoe.

It was so convenient for skiing or snowboarding. You step out of the hotel and right onto the Gondola and right in the center of everything.

This was an excellent hotel and right in the center of all of the local attractions in South Lake Tahoe. It is right in the center of the Heavenly resort and all of the shops, restaurants, lift tickets stand, grocery store, rentals, etc. You can step right out of the hotel and right onto the Gondola to take you up the mountain! Convenience is everything and covered here at the Marriott Timber Lodge. read more

The room was spacious and well appointed.
The restaurant was way too small for a hotel of this size. A 3-hour wait for a noisy little restaurant is idiotic.

Weight room smelled like smoke.

Very nice and spacious hotel. Comfortable and easily accessible from main street. Fun for the whole family.

It was in a nice area, staff was friendly and it was clean.
There were three adults and we were placed in a very small room.

The hotel was pleasant, clean and most of the staff was very friendly. The distance from the lobby to our room was a long trek. We had to leave the first floor building and go outside to a different building, up to 6th floor and had a lengthly walk to and from the elevator.

As an old time to so lake I and my husband were very impressed with this beautiful new hotel/resort. This area needed to be cleaned up and it has made a huge difference in the area. We will be back!

On check in discovered there was a fee of $19 per night for overnight car parking. Was told public parking was available at another hotel's lot.
