Not enough towels.

Sufficient to our purposes, but not enough towels, even after specific requests. Nice shampoos, etc. Clean, quiet. Annoying construction noises throughout the day; quiet at night.

Clean, comfortable, beautiful and a great location.
Expensive parking.

This hotel was classy, comfortable and clean. Beautiful lobby and we even had a small seating area just outside the room. Staff was friendly and professional.

Room was lovely and right near pool, which I used.
Because of its location, on site parking was nil, so had to pay about $15 for valet service.

Room was nice, but had to keep curtains closed because of pool area nearby. Then again, since I like to swim, I enjoyed having the pool so close. The weight/exercise room was very clean and had beautiful equipment. Lobby pretty and restaurant looked nice, although we didn't visit. Only complaint was valet parking.

Beautiful lobby, lovely piano music, gorgeous room.
$11. Mandatory valet parking, $5. For internet access.

This hotel has beautifully decorated rooms, and a wonderful open airy lobby. This would be a great place to meet someone for drinks at the lobby bar before a night out on the town! The room sparkled, the bed was a dream. My 12 year old son was wowed with the hi tech media center!

The staff was friendly, although very busy and apparently understaffed.
No choice but valet for parking at $11.00 a day, shuttle service was not timely at all.

The downtown Walnut Creek Marriott is a very nice hotel overall with friendly staff and comfortable accommodations. The parking situation was not ideal (valet was the only option at $11.00 per day, unless you wanted to park on the street) and the shuttle service they provided, while friendly, was not very efficient. Room service was slow, but otherwise, our stay at the Marriott was pleasant, and I would stay there again. read more
