Affordable.
Kind old and crummy in public areas, but it
is old.

For an affordable stay in Romulus, Metro Inn can certainly give you a night's rest. The staff was very nice and courteous. The building and hallways do show their age, and repairs could be performed. However, if you just need a place to stay for a night or so, that doesn't feel seedy or unsafe, the Metro Inn suits.

Hotel was easy to find and close to the hotel.

It was overall disappointing, although not entirely so. For every good thing, I could name at least 2 bad or mediocre things about it.

Price.
Black fuzzy mold on the bathroom ceiling.

I would not stay there again. It is in need of much repay. I would rather pay more money for a better room.

The hotel was not appropriate for families. We left because prostitutes were walking in at the same time as us.

Please do not let the location fool you. Apparently, this hotel is accustomed to prostitutes using their facilities. As we were getting our kids out, three prostitutes walked in with a man. We left because we did not want to expose our kids to these acts. Also, we did not feel safe in this hotel. When I told the man at the front desk, he didn't seem surprised that these things were going on at the hotel. read more
