Location: Access to the beach and to public transportation.
Outdated, certain areas were not as cleaned as I would have expected.
Most of the staff were service oriented and friendly except for the person who handed out the towels at the pool who was very rude, enough to justify me complaining to the manager. The hotel was outdated but OK for a 3-star hotel. The alarm clock did not work and I could not check out using the TV.

Beach 100 feet from hotel and had a
great view.
You have to pay 25$ a day for parking.

Very comforable and the staff is great.
Maids and not enough channels on the
TV to choose from.
The bartenders were awesome. But the maids were annoying, and theres only 3-5 channels on the TV, the rest you have to pay for.

Clean convenient and great staff.
Room colors made it not romantic. ie - bed spreads, etc.

Beautiful view of the ocean and pool.
Its a non-smoking hotel so you have to walk all the way downstairs and out to the valet area in order to smoke!
Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, beautiful view, well-kept and very presentable entrance and lobby area, and perfect for our short stay!

The hotel manager agreed to upgrade our room after the 3rd attempt for an additional fee.
Rooms were small, needs remodeled and smelled old.
I have stayed at many hotels in my days and this hotel is no better than a moderate Holiday Inn. Highly disappointed. Should have stayed in a true South Beach hotel that had some ambiance to it. We were upgraded to a suite after listening to my fiance complain to the max and it was just so. Old furniture, no refridge, no microwave, nothing great. Bed was fine and that was about it. read more

Parking, hidden fees, and location.
This hotel maybe priced for the location but it is not comparable to any of the other hotels I stayed at during this trip.

It is
the Miami Beach Resort.
Expensive parking.
This was a very nice place to stay. The pool was warm and inviting. The sun does hide behind the buildings in the afternoon, but that is the same at all of these hotels. The room was clean and nice. My ocean-side view from the 17th floor was great. The lobby was very pretty. The staff was very nice and helpful. Overall a very nice stay. Route 1A1 out front is a little odd with the one-way traffic. read more

Partial ocean view.
There was a partial view of the beach which was nice. The hotel next door from the bed was under construction. During weekdays, the construction noise is heard although it didn't bother me much. The room was clean but not the windows. The ice bucket was missing. But, the lid for the bucket was laying on the table. Hangers were also missing. The hotel staff brought the missing ice bucket and hangers about 30 min after I called the front desk. The hotel charged me for a drink from the room fridge although I never even opened it. There was $25 charge per day for car parking plus daily tax (approx $15/day). The hotel also charged me $10 per day for resort fee charges. According to the hotel, the resort fee is to cover the usage of the pool, gym etc although I never used any of the resort facilities. read more

The lobby was very nice and the view.
The continental breakfast wasn't free.
The overall stay was enjoyable but we had to pay for everything.
